May 29-30, 2009 twenty-five USSA families fished with professional anglers on Lake Guntersville. USSA partnered up with the Guntersville's YMCA who took care of all the meals and lodging. Commissioner Lawley and the AL Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources helped sponsor this fishing event by wavering the fishing licenses for these special families.
