This doe's been limping around for the last week with this foot. Other than the foot, she get's around fine and still looks healthy. Not showing any other symptoms other than the foot. She can put weight on it, but generally carries it up when she's walking. When she runs, she'll put some weight on it. She is bred and readyi to pop any day.

I've had two deer with the same problem in as many years. The first was a weaned doe who got co-mingled with some other does and injured herself in a fight. The other was a buck that somehow injured himself when moving from one pen to another. In both cases, the deer were able to heal themselves without me doing anything, though it took a long time. If this doe is gentle enough to touch, you might coat that foot with Coppertox a couple times per week.

It seems like its infected, maybe she got a cut and thats how it started? Just my thoughts- Ryan Apple Creek

Looks like foot rot to me. It should bust open soon and drain. I would get some Nuflor on board soon. Also if you can get a foot bath with iodine will help.
