Watch' em Grow (Bucks 2010)

Dustin,

What do some of your bucks look like? I think we would al like to see Birchwood and RR!

Thanks for the interest Drew, but I'm going to play on the down low this year with my bucks. Some highlights so far include 13pts+ yearling, Roulette @ 2 has decent width/mass, Birchwood... unreal mass, width and brows. He looks like Slingshot used to and may have a shot at 300" @ 3. Roosevelt unfortunately will have more then 4 extra points this year, haha but he's already 5x5 with a lot of growing to do yet!

I would love to post all kinds of pictures this year but I would also enjoy if some people would come out to the farm and check the bucks out. The last couple years without my dad around it's been really difficult to leave the farm so I haven't been able to visit farms or go to auctions like I used to. I have over a dozen top quality, deep pedigreed bred does to sell this fall and need to get acquainted with more farmers again to make some sales. Come on out and you can take as many pictures as you want!

Rick,

In your yearling group what is the Yellow 2? What is the pedigree?

Dustin,

I would love to come out this year for sure. I said i wanted to last year and never did. What is your biggest yearling's pedigree?

Y2 is a Rolex/Maxbo cross, looks like he is going to have some good width, we are excited about him and a couple of the others in that pen....

Drew that big yearling is an Avalanche/Corbin cross whose grandmother produced a 150"+ yearling with a big frame out of Slingshot. The line is very proven on my farm and the womb sister to this buck actually got bred to Birchwood, now that will be an interesting fawn!

What about timberjack? I see Sam post on here alot and was wondering about him. I know he got sick last year, did he die?

Rocksnracks,

Ask Jake and Russ Jr. about posting some pictures of Timb Bomb. I think we all would like to see him too! Thanks

Dustin,

OK i def. will be down to see ya and your bucks. See wat ya got for sale.

Rick,

Nice bucks! I wish the best of luck to you with all your deer and fawns. Check your PM. Thanks

Timberjack is alive and well. Since he kept his pedicles longer this year he is a little behind compared to last year but is a little wider and has a little more mass. We are working on a web site dedicated to watching him grow and hope to have it up in a week or so. :D

TimBucky looks good. I need to get down to Bills and take some pictures.

I can post pictures all the time but don't want people to think I am "hogging" the thread.

Thanks for asking though!

Sam, We want to see your deer. If your afraid of "hogging the thread" then please start your own thread with your farm name or something. I enjoy seeing the deer and how much they are growing. Best of luck to all and all your animals.

OK, but you all will regret it. Once I get started.........

I'll get some of the main crew this weekend.

Highway 10, Extreme Sneakers, Rocket Fuel, Maxbo Impact, Hydro Power Axe, Jack in the Box, Red Jeckyl, and a bunch of other young bucks are out in OH. I get reports from Dan, but the pictures must be coming by horse drawn buggy!

TimBucky, RolexBy10, Dream Tonto, and others are at Bills. I'll get some pictures of them next week. Doc Vortex and Big Thunder are in Branson but I'll get down there eventually. The rest of the gang is here. Timberjack, the Fab 5, Timber Roller, Tim Sneakers, Raindance, Hardwood, 6-Shooter and a bunch of slow growing :)() young deer.

I'll start snapping pictures again over the weekend. Bare with me and Thanks! :D

I just came from Steve Thayer's and WOW!!! He has got some big deer again this year. I don't know what he's feeding them, but they look great, antler velvet is really dark. He has typicals, non typicals, and everything in between. I snapped a couple of pics of one of the non typicals, I think he said it was a Five Brow son. I'm sure he will clarify this for me when he sees the post. Anyway, here he is, don't know how much antler he has already, but it's allot!!!

His antlers is pure black and he weight is around 280 to 300 # the product is working. Thank Mark putting this on Deer Farmers

To all,

We would like to introduce Fender our new farm world record. He is the new record because he is our only buck on the farm. :D Fender is out of Edgemoor's Grover who was previously posted. This is truly one of the most exciting times farmers life. Congratulations to all the farmers in our eyes they are all world records.
