I am thinking of AI'ing one of my does with Waldo this year. Something about his overall size I like. I was wondering if anyone out there would have photos of his sons.

Thanks,

Waldo is really showing up as a great producer. I hope Barry McGrew will post his big Waldo 2 year old. I have one also (I think, he is not DNA'd yet) We also have 18 yearling Waldo bucks that are looking really good. I'll post some pictures of those later :D

Below is Waldo and our one and only Waldo 2 year old - Yellow 228.

The middle picture was taken 6-8-2010 and the last one on 6-30-2010. He grew pretty good in 3 weeks! :p

Hey Sam how's that for timing... I must have been getting the pict up when you posted... Wow, your Waldo buck looks great, I have a couple others here and they are really starting to show some promise. I'll post more when I get updated photos.

Barry M.

Thanks guys those bucks really look good. I thank you for posting the photos.

Sam I did not want to bother you. I heard the guys talking about sending you batteries and camera cards. I figured you was in hiding from the UPS man.

Or you were somewhere between Missouri and Ohio feeding horses and fixing buggy wheels to get more photos.:D

Sam how is Green 81 doing?

Thanks again,

Hi Jeff,

If you are talking about Hardwood (Green 81) then he is looking great. For the first time in 3 years he has both normal upright antlers! And is sprouting points all over up high. I will try to get some photos soon. He should finish somewhere in the 300's. I think that he is one of those bucks that flies a little under the radar due to his messed up antlers the last couple of years. But he is showing that he will produce. He should have it in him since he is Drifter over PA Geronimo! :D

As far as the bucks in OH (Maxbo Impact, Hydro Power Ax, and others), by the time the pictures get here from OH by buggy, they are a little outdated! But no complaints here, Dan does a great job of growing those big boys just the way I like them! They are all looking good and I am planning a photo trip out there in late July. For these Missouri bucks, I'll try to get some more updated photos real soon! :p

Sam and Barry,

Thanks for the input on both Waldo and Hardwood. I am anticipating great things to come from both Waldo and Hardwood on our farm:D. I have wondered how Hardwood was growing. The suspense of his looks this year has been unbearable at times. So if no-one else is asking keep the suspense going until he grows out. ;)

If possible and time allows maybe we could get together when you make your visit to Ohio.

Thanks,

Knowing Sam he has some big boys coming on , he going to blow our door off when he start posting them in Aug all at once .:D

Nathan Blosser is another one that has some big boys , I have know idea how big Grand Canyon is going to get I just hope he can carry his antlers in Aug. Some of these bucks we need to come with some way to support there antlers . Someone can surely come up with something , we put people on the moon:)
