Did a farm tour yesterday @ barkley & coles all I can say is wow they had several huge framed deer from yearlings to two yearolds etc they treated me & dad like theyve known us for years what really impressed us was there main breeders hiss jailbird and wildman talk about some true hogs if I'm excited about using there deer in our ai program this year if you have never been by barkley you nerd to put it on your to do list once again thanks for everything and for sharing your knowledge of deer with us . Looking forward to seeing you guys again real soon. Joe & pepe

Paul I had an opportunity to see his present and past racks and he was never small he looks awesome again this year maybe Cole can chime in & further help you I'm posting from my phone cause my computer is down I do know they have some deer in the Ohio sale

I agree with you on Barkely and Cole's deer. We used Hoss in our breeding program and have 4 yearlings this year from it. They are all very typical with nice big frames. I really think that you will be hearing more from their genetic line in the future. I know we will be AIing more with their bucks in years to come.

The Young's deer are exactly what the hunting ranches are looking for.. We bought wildman for exactly that reason. Most of his sons are over 24 inches inside with that low profile shock effect look !! We have been breeding with their genetics for a couple years now and are very very happy with the results we are getting!!

Double J - Thanks for your compliments...it was very nice to meet you and your dad...hope you come back soon.

Paul- ill try to get some pictures of Hoss in the near future on here for you..he has a big typical frame again this year with a little damage and a few extras and drops..he should still be over 300...

Greg- Thanks for the compliments ... Means alot coming from you...You and Shorty's deer are looking unbelievable again this year as always, Cardiac Kid is Unreal! .....I'm really excited to see your Hoss sons...That Big Guy 2yr old out of Hoss's mother is finishing out real nice ill get some photos of him for ya soon....

Kurt- Cant wait to see what you grow out of Wildman in the years to come I know You will have something big out of him soon....

It's no secret to anyone that I am a HUGE fan of Barkley and Cole's deer.... not to mention great friends with them as well.

I've spent a ton of time on their farm over the years, and I can honestly say that they've always had the most consistent group of big, wide, framey deer that I've ever seen. And they've done it all with their own genetics and on their own farm... that's impressive!

I've been very blessed and fortunate this year to be able to purchase does that I couldn't afford in years past, but my most exciting purchase recently was 4 more does right off of their farm. I know that they are going to produce the big frames that I'm after.

Keep up the great work guys.

Joe - next time call and stop in when you're out this way!

Mike- Thanks for your comments ....im excited about those 4 does too...looking forward to seeing Texas Tea II....the Wildman/Tea and Hoss/Tea cross's should be awesome !...

Ditto on what everyone has already said, being relatively new to this industry, i need all the help i can get, and Barkley always answers his phone. I was fortunate to get a Hoss doe fawn last year, exposed to Jailbird, and even more fortunate that she had an early July buck fawn. Anxious to see how he does. Their farm is awesome to see and their deer aren't too shabby either. Good guys!

Jens- thanks for your comments.....Glad to hear that girl fawned for you I thought she would ..... Next time your down to dads you'll have to stop by my place.....Hope to see ya soon
