Sorry to hear about the great Maxbo! Take comfort in knowing, few deer will ever accomplish what he did in a short ten years! You have mail....

Holly,

Words can not do justice to express how grateful I am to have won a straw out of Maxbo. My heart dropped to hear that Maxbo had passed away. He truly is a legend in the industry and will be missed. I am excited to have the opportunity to be able to AI with him.

Thanks Again...Dave

Holly, sorry for you and David's loss. Maxbo in my opinion was one of the best sires of all time. Y27 and Y26 (Marty Graw's mother) Boomer does where perhaps two of the best power does in the industry. The good thing is he left behind a ton of great of spring. Thanks again for giving us the opportunity.

So sorry. I was wondering the other day how he was doing this year and what he would score. It just won't be the same. Best of luck, Allen

As they say....."All good things must come to an end"......sure doesn't make it any easier........Holly I am sorry to hear this news and i am sure David is taking it hard.......what an awesome animal he was!! He was blessed to live 10 years for a deer thats pretty darn good..........The Industry will surely miss him!! God Bless!

David and Holly,

Sorry to hear of the loss of Maxbo. The legacy of this great sire will live. Your dedication to excellence in deer health care must be the reason this great buck graced us over the years.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words. Also thank you to all who have emailed and called. I have passed them all on David and he has been very touched. I attached a neat strip of Maxbo ages 1-10! If anyone would like this emailed to them in higher resolution, just let me know. Thanks again!

I fear the day we lose Updraft and his mother Dolly. They both are like our family almost. Dolly is so tame and is Laurie's treasure. Updraft for not being bottle fed has a super personality, besides him being one of our feature bucks. We just have to enjoy the time we get with them all.

David and Holly, Sorry to hear about one of the greats in this buisness. If you would then please email me a copy of his pics for each year. Thanks Jeff [email protected]
