Steve - Barkley and Cole don't get on the internet much so I try to keep everyone up to date on what's happening down there. One thing you are absolutely right about is the number of BIG deer that they have been consistenly putting on the ground for years now. The best part of their herd is that nearly all of the big boys have come from their own genetics... not to mention the impressive width that is very consistent on their bucks. They just started AI'ing a few years ago so it will be interesting to see how the outcrosses produce.

Hoss is looking big as usual, but I didn't get a chance to get any photos of him. I will keep you guys up to date on the bucks growing out this year.

I'll let them know that you were asking about their deer... I'm sure they will appreciate it.

Another day, another update. :) Here's Mojave and Saguaro again, it's been about 5 days since the videos and they show growth daily right now :)

A couple AV 2-year olds. I believe the one on the right had some damage when antlers were under 1", not sure if he'll keep his antler strategy in the future or not, but has a double beam as of this year...

Hi Guys, I think it is time I get some posts up here for Meadowview Deer Farm. Check out the amazing antler growth from EL Bondie @ only 3 years old. He is a Barry Bonds son out of our proven P-56 Doe. (226 7/8" @ 2) At this rate he is likely to top 300" by the end of summer! For more information, please call Elam Lapp at 717-692-4759.

Patch is now 6 years old. He scored 120 @ 2, 148 @ 3, 167 @ 4, 172 @ 5. This year he is bigger than ever and growing fast. He has always had a clean typical rack, with some years having split brow tines. This year he is still clean and much heavier.

Last year he started to sprout G-5's but they didn't make much. Looks like this year he may just have them. Can you imagine a 6 x 6 typical piebald scoring in the 180's?

Patch has sired 11 fawns so far this year. 6 piebalds, 3 whites and two browns. Patch is the father to the white buck pictured in our avatar, his name is Morton. Morton scored 168" @ 3 with a 25" inside spread.

I wish you lived closer Isaac. You could get some awesome pictures of him. He is very tame.
