I can't describe the body on that deer... so I'll give you the numbers. 7.5" bases, no mass under 6", 22"+ inside, 26+27" beams 11-13" tines and yeah he's only two! Lets not forget the 150" Roosevelt yearling from his sister that was born in July... this line knows big frame and long tines. Ask Glenn, I think we have to call her Holly Jr. lol

dust, whats with this ROOSEVELT DNA LINE ?

Roosevelt has a long, long line of big framed deer in his dna lineup. It looks like he is passing it on also as the 2 buck fawns we have out of him have nice 2 plus inches of hard horn now.Dustin i think you will have to be on the lookout for another 300in plus 3 year old with him and i have my fingers crossed for US to have roosevelt bust the 400 inch mark this year.He does have a serious shot at it!!!!

Roosevelt is a Rolex 3 yearold from a Blitzen/Red 8 doe who between her and her sisters have produced a mega lineup of big framed sons who have bred on some top farms. His first year of breeding only produced one son who was out of that Reno/L3 son's sister I posted and was just under 150" @ 1.

Mike I'm not going to jump ahead of myself, if Roulette does 270-280 and keeps that look I will be tickled pink next year watching him grow. He almost looks like a young version of Sundowner to me, but that's just my opinion. I don't want to set my expectations to high with Roosevelt either. If he can make it 1/2way to 400" this year that would be more then expected on my part. Rolex didn't make the big 4-0-0 until he was 5 and Roosevelt will only be 4 this year so he still has some time to work on it. Like I said his only son from last year was really impressive and even the only button buck from this year is pretty serious... being out of a Slingshot daughter definitely didn't hurt a thing.

For anyone interested I have just one doe bred to Roosevelt available to sell this year, but I'll have a few doe fawns so if some one is interested just let me know.
