Antlers 2011

Tim and Tug are doing fine but seem to be behind Jack by about 3-4 weeks. I will get some pictures of them in July. It seems like as far as how far along these bucks are, there are a few bucks way out front (RolexBy10, Sterling, WayAwesome, Jack McGraw), some deer about average (Timberjack, Jack in the Box, The Chosen One, a bunch of others) and some deer that need to kick it in gear!

And of course a few surprises! :D

Browning whitetails has posted a new video of the week on our web site, we are featuring Rain Or Shine this week he is a Maxbo Ranger Yearling, more info and a slide show of yesterdays pictures of him are avaliable on his web page, just go to the buck page and click on Rain or Shine

It is hard to argue with the look of WayAwesome. I think everybody would like a pen of those. A good problem to have would be when one of those bucks in the pen is only a 5X6. :)

HAB, that Waylon son sure flares out and reminds me of the Waylon son that Dan Kuhns had that was real clean and wide. Sailor was another buck Dan had with that look. Hunters sure drool over them.

Thanks for posting the picture Scott. Fear Factor is growing so fast right now. That picture is 3 days old and seems to be out dated already when you see the horn he put on in those 3 days.

Here is WayAwesome at 3 On June 25!

Waylon over an Awesome Doe :)

WayAwesome-June25-3Yr.jpg

Waylon is an overlooked sire in my opinion. I have 2 Waylon sons, one from a Highroller doe (Nobama) and one from a Drifter doe. They are the only 2 Waylon sons I have ever had and both are really good, 2 of the best bucks I have ever raised and both have the "look" that shooting preserves want; big open frames with just enough extras to give them some character and drive up their score. Too bad I am moving towards breeding for clean typicals; if a guy was looking to raise a bunch of great shooter bucks, I think he would do well by breeding all his does to Waylon

I started a camera fund for the Walk's last year and obviously we didn't raise enough so I'd like to re-start that fund with a $10 donation. :D

Who is with me?

I am of course just kidding around! We will take any pictures we can get! :p

Great Great Deer!

Sam,

I am with you so Russ If you give up one straw of Fear Factor this package will be at your door with unlimited lessons over phone with Isaac and John. Sam your Photo art is looking as good as your deer congratulations.

Time is ticking

Scott

I am very much enjoying looking at everyone's pictures. Hope you enjoy looking at mine. Here are some updated photos of Hydro Broad-Axe @ 3. He has grown quite a bit since my last post a few weeks back. HBA is a Hydro Axe son over a P.J. doe.

Justice Update: Justice is a 100% Ratchet-Goodman Foundation bloodline. He's looking good with 40 points; 6x6 main frame; multiple splits and drops. He has it all !! Expecting him to go over 300 this year. This bloodline has been producing for 28 years for me, along with Dave Creegan, Andy Foor, Barclay Young, and many others.

Semen is available.

Thanks for taking the time to look at his picture!

Sorry Don, I forgot about one of the largest Waylon sons when Nobama slipped my mind. A big- framed, mostly typical great buck with maybe a better name.

Fear Factor is just following a great year 2 and 3 with possibly his best year yet at 4. That is a very rare feat. It's not even July yet. :D

Here is a updated picture of my 3 year old nicknamed Unicorn. To see more pictures of him please visit my thread in the Farm and Ranch showcase section.

That looks like a real awesome package of camera equipment Scott. Everything you do is top notch though. Believe it or not I got a few of Sam's donations last year and got one just like it. Sam I gotta good chuckle out of your post. They say smiling is good for the soul. I am ready for a Rolex-by-10 update. Keep us updated on the other boys also.

:)Seriously, thanks Richard, Mike, Chris and those that posted earlier. That really means a lot. Sometimes I have second guessed how to price animals and semen off our farm. If I price it to low I'm a bad guy. If I price it to high, I'm a bad guy. Best of luck to you guys!

Heath and I are very excited about Fear Factor this year. Its a real joy to have him in the line up this year again. We are selling a few more straws at last years farm price and then increasing the farm price to add value and equity to all those who have invested in him. The plan is to continue to raise the price every 20 straws sold. It is a new feature that we started last year with Fear Factor. At some point straws will be over priced and this will limit the semen sales on the deer. What do you guys think of this idea? Its not perfect by no means but it allows very reasonable, unrestricted, entry level investments that grow and mature for you with time.

Hopefully, Fear Factor keeps it up with no problems or set backs. He is an amazing deer! We will post updates of all the boys soon. With a real camera!;)

There are some fine bucks on this forum this year gentlemen. WOW!

11 days since last pics posted from my yearling buck pen. All the deer being posted on this site seem to be really pushing it up.

Russ,

I think this is a really good idea. For example you sell 20 swtraws at $2500. After they are all sold, you sell 20 straws at $3000, then 20 straws at $3500. Every time the price goes up, the people that previously bought benefit more on their original investment. What is the price at now off the farm and how many are available at that price?

Todd

Haven't done this in some time, I still check in from time-to-time. Appreciate seeing all the photos. Here's one of our yearlings.

I had one in the pen that chewed the tags off of several deer. I have no idea who he's out of other than we breed with three bucks, Top Gun, Top Cash and Gladiator. We have DNA on all, we will figure it out.
