The first two photos are of Gold Dust. He is out of Rold Gold and Timber Jack on the bottom. He was 328 inches as a two year old. It will be interesting to see where he ends up this year. The second deer is Rocky Extreme a Flees bred deer.

Wayne, Gold Dust is way head of last year and lookin good. As you know but some may not he shed one side 6 weeks late as a yearling and grew uneven as a 2 year old as a result. The normal side was awesome and he finished at 328 as he was. If the good side was doubled he was over 350 @2. I will go out on a limb and bet he will be 400+ when he's done this year at 3! Its hard to see now but watch this boy go the next 8 weeks. He didn't look like much at this time last year and was not a standout in the pen. As Buzz said, "its not where they start but where they finish that counts". Below is a late July pic of Gold Dust at 2 years old. Keep us posted Wayne.

He's hardto get a good pix of him that shows hiis tine lenght because they come off the back of his beams and curve around and up. He was 368" last year and 24" inside and has been over 300" and 24"+ since he was 3 and wasn't used to breed with till he was 4.

Russ jr. You are right about Gold Dust. He is matched up real even this year and shed both sides at the same time. We have been biting our lip on guessing how he will finish out. We have been thinking 400 but didn't want to jinks him. You saw him up close and personal on your farm last year so you know what he is capable of doing. He is slower than the others but he has more mass than any of them and it is like building a house. The foundation has got to come first and he has the foundation we are estimating 10 to 12 inch bases. Good luck with your deer also they are looking great, I can't wait to see Fear Factor when he is finished.

Buzzie is right, it's not over till it's over and there are some great deer out there still growing, can't wait to see them all when they are done

Riptide looks great Josh. You might want to rename him... "High Beams". I can hear it now... "hit em with some High Beams!"

I like his look! Congrats.
