We are proud to announce our 2010 breeders.

First is a yearling that was born and raised on our farm. We named him Razor’s Edge and scores 160@1. He carries a 5x4 mainframe and has nice tine length and mass for a yearling. A College Fund son that we are excited about.

We purchased our next breeder from Fred Huebner of Circle “H” Whitetails. Ax-Man scores 205@2 and is a Maxbo Extreme son out of Zoey. He will be our main breeder over the next few years and will be a great compliment to our up and coming does.

Thanks Fred for selling us a wonderful animal!

We will have a few fawns for sale this spring out of each of these bucks.

Attached is the pedigree for Razor's Edge. His sire College Fund scored 160@1 and 207@2. His Dam is a Razor daughter out of a Andy doe named Andrea. Andy was a son of Ace and a Bucko daughter. Andrea produces sons with 6x5 and 6x6 mainframes. First picture is a son out of Andrea and the last two are grandsons. Razor's Edge will bring nice frames with increased bloodflow from College Fund.

And this is Ax-Man's pedigree. We are really excited to see what this buck will be in the next couple of years. He is a big bodied buck and heavily muscled. He passes this trait on to his offspring. We were lucky enough to breed a couple of does to him as a yearling, and I absolutely love the bodies he puts on his offspring. Unfortunately he didn't grow to his full potential this year, due to a serious injury that put him 6 to 8 weeks behind in antler growth. He healed nicely and still put on an amazing set of antlers. What would he have been without the injury?

Thanks Nick. Can't wait for antlers to drop and the growing to start.

Great looking deer. I need to get over to your place and see them in person.

Thanks Barry! Sure missed not getting to stop by and visit. Can't wait to see what Dropzillasan does as a two year old.

We are offering a limited number of doe fawns for sale this spring, out of Axe-Man (205@2) and Razor’s Edge (160@1). These fawns will be on a first come first serve basis. A small deposit will guarantee a fawn. Call for pricing, information and to get on the list.

Be the first to own fawns out of either of these two bucks. Take advantage of reasonable prices before the next set of antlers start to grow.

We are about a month away from fawning and I am getting pretty excited. We have live bred a few does to Ax-Man (240+ @3) and to Razor's Edge (236+ @2). Both of these bucks also backed up our AI does.

I am expecting fawns from the following AI bucks: Last Call, Sundance Six Shooter, Redoy Bill and Arty.

Can't wait til they start hitting the ground.

For the next few weeks I will be posting all the fawns that were born this year, along with pedigrees and a description of the genetics. I hope to use this as a tool for everyone to become familiar with our genetics and bloodlines that we are using.

As we go through my genetics and you see something you like feel free to give me a call. Some of these fawns will be for sale.

This girl is packed with old school bloodlines. You have Lone Wolf's bro., Ace's sister, Ace, a Bucko daughter, and Maxbo Extreme. That's just the bottom side. Throw in Redoy Bill on top and look out. She will produce big framed typicals.

I bought Diana to bring something a little different into my herd. I felt she could produce some really nice typical framed deer. After seeing her womb brother (Ace's Star), I knew I needed to breed her to something special. So I bred her to Redoy Bill. She gave me a buck and a doe out of Bill. These fawns have Dena in their pedigree twice, Ace's sister, and Ax-Man's mother, and Doc packed into them.

1255 & 1257 are twin buck fawns out of Last Call and one of my College Fund daughters. College Fund scored 207@2 and only bred a few does before he died. He is also the sire to one of my breeder bucks that we call Razor’s Edge 236@2. These fawns have a little of everything packed into their pedigree and all are proven. Can’t wait to see how these boys will turn out in the next few years.

You will notice a lot of my pedigrees have Andrea in them for good reason. Her sire was Andy, Amos’ half brother. Whatever I bred her to, her sons, and grandsons would have either a 6x6 or 6x5 mainframe and all of them scored between 200-230@3 and fairly typical. She has one non-typical grandson, Razor’s Edge. Now that is production! This year out of 18 does I have a combination of 11 daughters, granddaughters, and great granddaughters fawning for me. She is still alive at 9 years old, and this will be the first year that she will be having fawns on someone elses farm.
