I had the pleasure of getting a short farm tour from harry yesterday and holy cow is all I can say, BIG RIG is BIG as you can see and Big Heavy lives up to that name as well. Something in the water at Mountain Ridge Whitetails, he found the fountain of BIGNESS
Sam and Harry yall have some awesome deer. These deer just keep blowing my mind.
I cant believe there is that many big deer this year. Everybodys deer look good this year, from the yearlings to the older guys. Congartulations to everyone and hope they all stay healthy.

Our most recent pictures of Tabasco (August 2, 2011). We think he will score between 190"-195" with a 20" inside spread.

Big Rig and Stone Cold are quite a site to see.
Frequent Flyer is definatley one of the best looking yearlings out there, however it looks like a few of the Louisiana deer are holding their own with bucks like Tombstone,Toxic Shock and Conductor. Good luck to everyone

Mike, that is a great yearling. It is nice to finally see some great deer coming out of Louisiana, We have been hidden for a while. Things are looking up down here real fast.

Everyones deer are looking great ..tombstone..tabasco..double xl..the sipes yearling..love those danger trips michael..and the two yr old that scored 40 as a yearling gave me lots of hope for our yearlings ..lol..
I know this ain't the place for this question but this is where everybody looks..do I need to treat this yearling ..he broke the end of his beam off today...?

You betch ya.We had one rip some velvet today and had to fix him up.You need to get that part thats hanging cut off and get him cleaned up....Flies will be on that fast!!!

If you don't want to take a chance on losing him you need to treat him. The flies will get on that like a magnet and you will have an antler infection. Antler infections kill deer, they are sort of like blood poisoning. They can go downhill very quickly so the sooner the better. I would saw at least the damaged antler.

Sterling is 3 and is out of Sunny Jr. (StoneCold is out of a Sunny Jr. Doe) over Drifter over Magnum 228. Sunny Jr. is getting it done! Those points on the front left base are 6-8 inches long. Hard to tell from the pics!

1st picture is FSW Rascal and FSW Roscoe...2011 twin yearlings out of Dustin Miller's Roosevelt/Avalanche.
2nd pictures is FSW Roscoe....not to bad for a New York yearling...Dustin says he looks like Roosevelt as a yearling. I sure hope he finishes like him.
3rd picture is FSW Lonesome. We are real happy with the way he is growing. He is out of a Lonewood/BJB breeding. He stood still enough to get some rough estimates. He is just shy of 25" inside with 11" tines and still growing.
