We started our journey to visit deer farms in the state of PA on Thursday. Our goal was to visit the deer farms that we are looking to purchase from or have purchased from and look to buy again in the future. Our journey was 1400 miles ending today. It was nice to meet some farmers for the first time and share some laughs with others. I will post each farm. We had the opportunity to meet with Matt Anthony, Steve Stoltzfus, Dustin Miller, David Glick and Mike Heiter. Thanks again guys, it was a pleasure...

Matt is a very nice young farmer. He has a lot of knowledge and will go far in the deer business. He currently owns Hard Rock.

We bought a nice doe 2 years ago from Dustin that gave us a pair of Roosevelt Buck Fawns. Look at their yearling racks on our website www.fourseasonwhitetails.com. FSW Roscoe and FSW Rascal.... Thanks for the visit Dustin!

Jacob was in Texas at the sale but his son David did a great job with the farm tour. We all know that Jacob has Climax, Cyclone, Applejack, and the list goes on. It was a nice visit. We will catch you next time Jacob!

We had a great visit with Mike despite the rain. We had the opportunity to see Texas Tea and pictures do not do him justice. He is a really nice looking buck. You have done a great job Mike! We can not wait to get his bloodline and offspring in our pen next year!

Hey Mike I appreciate you stopping by the farm, that's one heck of a ride! Hope you enjoyed the bucks and thanks for helping me with the bottle feeding. If I'm ever in your neck of the woods I'll be sure to stop by.

Thanks alot for stopping in guys! Wish you had a couple more hours to stay and talk deer! I had a great time! Your welcome back anytime

Mike, I live less then 20 miles from Steven, I would have met you somewhere for dinner if I had known you were in the area. Maxbo JES is a great deer for sure with a fantastic look. I wish I had one like him. Next time you are this way, call me pal

Sorry henry...I had no idea you were that close to steve. You are so right steve is a fine example of a guy with a small farm and no big name that gets overlooked.I have been to many big farms with names and steve has a group of 2yr olds that would stand up to any of them...Unreal group of deer he has!!! We will do dinner soon because it looks like there will be another pen going up asap.I think i will need about 4 more rolls and also in need of some darts!! I will call ya soon!!
