I dont know scott!!! Holly got it done for sure in the 14in plus range and did it alot but man i just held some of those dena/maxin racks in my hands at the top 30 and those things are unreal. We are talking 18 to 20 inch tines over and over with mass thrown in just for the good look's!!!! Its good to know there are a couple out there that will get it done though!! I have a few with holly in their line and this summer there will be a couple Maxin/dena girls headed my way!!!

I imagine we will be hearing alot about Sundance/Angela sons in a couple of years.

We had Stan, a T-Bone son out of a Peach doe that had tines of 18 4/8 and 21" last year. The yearling in the picture is a Stan son out of a High Roller doe that goes back to... Pink 20.

Yes mike it seems that the dena/maxin line is putting out long tines! but also quite a bit of stickers also! it really depends what look your going after, if you want long clean tines with no stickers you cant beat holly and glenn dice L 3 line!

just my opinion!

Scott the Maxin line in general does throw stickers into the mix as well as long tines! But in building a fast maturing whitetail with the ability to push the score.......I think you will find that you will need those stickers in an uptine to push the score for a better bottom line! Long clean tines are very attractive and help inhance the "look" but added stickers in the right place will deffinetly add to the over all score and give the hunters the inches most want.

I agree wayne the maxin line will definetely give you more score ! I myself like picket fence racks and also like them with extra's, They all look good to me!!!

How about the old Oscar line?

Virgil your right, the Oscar line cannot be overlooked. This is why people need to do their homework. A good example is Auggie. Amos' long beautiful tines matched up with a Oscar foundation doe like Rhonney (also produces long tines) is what created Auggie. Auggie produces long tines and frame year in and out.

I will also add that there is a 2 year old in IA that has one of the prettiest typical frame since Amos with an est. 14+ G-2's.
