Fawn Shelters

With fawning season almost here. I thought I would share some photos of what we use for our fawns for shelters. The fawns love them and are a very affordable option. We have them in our pens that are designated for fawns only and were we bottle feed.

Thanks Cory and Jason, I got the huts for $50. a piece and got around $100 in materials.

I've been looking for some huts like this! Seems every time I see some out in the field they're either rusted out at the bottom, or the farmer has too much junk in it to part with the shell

where did you find the huts?

CBRanck, I found my huts off of local farmers who had not used them for a number of years. I still see some setting in fence rows around. Just take the family out for an evening drive out on the back roads. Even if you don't find any on your first trip it makes for a good outing!
