Tell me all you know about Legend

Hoping to get some input on Andy Foor's original Legend buck...

I am seeing him show up in the background of a number of animals with words like dbl Legend. What has he produced? What traits do you associate with his genetics?

....any other information regarding Legend and his production?

I live near Andy Foor's farm. I have bought several deer from him the last few years. I have Legend, or his offspring in many of my breeding does pedigrees. Legend died in 2004, But he was a great producer, and good carrier of mass. I know of one son of the top of my head, was Myth. He was a very massive and palmated buck that scored in the 240"s. if you go to thewildernesspa.com you might find Legend's pic, that is Andy's website. Andy used to be on these forums but he is not so much anymore.

Andy was kind enough to donate 2 straws of his great buck to our Ny fundraiser in september. We thank him and im sure there will be intrest in those straws!!!

Legend daughters and granddaughters have produced very well and are great "frame holders". I have watched this line for years, as Legend was my favorite buck since I've started raising deer in 1999. For example check out the bottom anchor doe's in Mark Sipes' Reno, Dream Milbo, Marsh Renbo, Extra Gold, Glen Dice's BJ/Legend, PBJ which happens to be in OVW Loverboy. Just to name a few. What comes to mind when I think of the Legend line would be beautiful,balanced,wide, typical frames.

Does anyone want to post any pics of bucks that would show Legend in the pedigree? We have pics of Reno, can get of Marsh Valley animals, Loverboy...any more out there that can be posted? All your help is greatly appreciated! Maybe this article will be out in time to pump up the sale of Legend semen straws in NY for Sept...or afterwards when someone will be kicking themselves for not buying when they had the chance!!
