Scott thanks for the tour. Widow maker is a beautiful typical(no damage). The deer that got me excited was the two Big Sir/Romeo buck fawns. They are huge!!!! I've never seen bigger bases. These things are little hogs, must be eating very well. I hope you draw semen this year, wouldn't mind having those genetic in my herd. Very nice lay out of your pens no over crowding.I believe that's part of the reason your deer are doing so well. Good luck this year with everything. You are doing a great job. Also Congratulation on the purchase of the Rolex /Red 16 breed to Power ball, that is a powerful combination. Talk to you soon.

Thanks Terry Im glad you liked the bucks!!! Told you them boys had big bases! How is my girl red 8 doing??? To anyone reading this post and wondering what Im talking about Terry and his good friend clay are the proud owners of one of my favorite powerdoes of all time RED 8!!!! She is the mother of numax,Lj, and mother and grandmother of many other big typical framey bucks across the country! Her daughter Kalii is also a big producer! Red 8 is getting up in age now but its nice having one of the industries first true power does living a few miles away!!!! Terry Im excited to see how that rollsroyce/red 8 buck of yours turns out this year!!!! I also hope clay can convince you to build that hunting preserve on your property!!!

I think it would do well!!! Thanks again for the kind words about my farm and bucks!!!!

terry thinks widowmaker will score about 145-150 being 100% typical does that seem right ? Im not good at estimating score any other thoughts?? How about you MIKE????

I would say right around 135-140 hard to tell from those pics. Nice buck can't wait to see him as he gets older. Hope he stays typical.

WM should stay fairly typical, all the bucks that came from the clean side of my doe program have really stayed typical. Here's a yearling pic from 2009 scored 154", they don't score 300" so I don't advertise them, lol... everyone's getting so high on the typicals I guess I need to start.

Dustin typical is the best look in this hunters eye's but lets not forget the frame and width to go with it. Thats the way i was thinking with that romeo girl bred to moonshine that i bought from you!!! I can tell you that any does that come out of that cross will be bred with something 30 plus inches inside!!!!

Dennis I unfortunately lost that buck to fighting as a 2yr old after he grew this rack, even after tearing out a big piece of pedical when shedding he still made 180"s @ 2 with 14"+ tines. I've had a pile of those big typicals over the years but I was always cautious to post them because they never scored huge. Like I said might have to show a few more of them this year!

Mike I just moved Moonshine back to the bachelor pen today and had him standing next to Roosevelt, 3 years younger they were the same size and 'shine probably has 30-40 extra pounds on him! If he does anything like Josh Newton's PA Eclipse buck (same momma) better watch out!!! I got a real close up look at a few buck fawns I'd say about 25% of them are sporting velvet and 25% of them are still holding last years nubs. Oh and the one with the huge buttons ain't in first place, his brother is! lol... not givin' up any pedigrees though, gotta wait for the contest!!!!
