Hey everyone I'm back! I"ve been away from the forums all fall long but now I'm back in the saddle so to speak.
I know I'm a little behind but I thought I would let everyone see what I used for breeder bucks this year.
This first one is an Energizer 2 year old. He damaged one side pretty good in June right when they were really growing heavy. Scored 185 as is with a 23" inside. There is a little over 15 inches difference from the good side and the damaged side. We feel he would have been around 200 @ 2 if undamaged.

I have a few select bred does for sale. All of the following does have been built for consistency. I strive to produce big fairly typical deer with excellent mainframes. These does will give you just that. All these does have proven mothers in their pedigrees that have produced very well for me.

Y-78 is loaded to produce big mainframes. Take a look at her pedigree. Her father is College Fund. Scored 207@2. Deer in his pedigree speak for itself. On the maternal side Axe was 201@3 6x6 and 212+@4. His sons were all big typicals with a few extras. Yellow 7 and 8 were half brother and sister. Yellow 8 produced a 7x6 mainframed pure typical, when I bred her to her half brother, named Rackula. Andrea is an Andy daughter that never had a bad son, and her daughters and grand daughters, sons, and grandsons are producing big for me.
She is calm bottle fed and bred to an Energizer son that scores 185@2 damaged. 23 inches inside and would have been around 200 undamaged. Carefully study what the fawns pedigree will look like. Line-bred maternally for consistency.

Y-88 is a daughter of Chad Machart's Navajo, 207@2. Navajo was a Scout son out of an Uno doe. Uno does produces big typicals, period.
88's mother is a line-bred doe out of Minnesota bloodline that consistantly produced wide typicals. High Octane was 27 inside, huge typical with shock effect.
She is bred to Ax-Man. $1000

Y-86's pedigree speaks for itself. Perfectly line-bred and built to produce huge typicals. Crossing the Andy line and Amos line has worked well for me. Long tines and 6x6 frames are common. Now add Ax-Man. Mixing three maternal Circle "H" lines together. These fawns will be special. Note that the anchor doe is Blue 24. Blue 24 is Asset's maternal grand mother.

Carpenter Whitetails is proud to announce that Tank will be one of our breeders again this year. We used him sparingly last year as he was damaged. But after seeing that he had a great look, and grew to be the biggest bodied buck that I have ever raised, I decided to use him again and he will see a bunch of action this year. Tank scores a solid 230" and is just as his name suggests, a Tank. His body was taller, longer, and bigger than the rest, but didn't realize how big until he was put in with the girls. The last pic was taken the day his antlers were cut, and put in with the does. The doe behind him is an average sized 3 year old.
