Less than 3 weeks until the MDBA banquet at the Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria, MN. The MDBA would like to continue to support the efforts in the industry and we can't do it with out the help of your generous donations! These are unsettling times in the industry right now and your donation is needed more than ever! Please consider donating and supporting the MDBA!

In 2012, the MDBA once again contributed $5,000 to the travels of Steve Porter’s Traveling Whitetails. Steve travels the upper Midwest educating our children on good hunting decisions in the hopes that it leads to good life decisions. The MDBA recently donated $5,000 to the American Cervid Alliance (ACA) to support challenges on over-regulation and double standards this industry faces. Earlier in 2012, the MDBA was able to donate to organizations such as Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, West Virginia and New Jersey to further their future in deer farming. We are proud to say that the MDBA also was able to pay Minnesota’s portion of the national lobbyist in 2012 for the first time in years.

Our hopes are, with your donations, to help more states in need in 2013.

Your donation will help ensure that the MDBA will be able to continue to be a proactive and upcoming organization providing services, which includes educational speakers, publications and information to our membership and to the public. The past 2 banquets have been the best grossing banquets in MDBA history! This is all because of generous donations by you.

Please consider joining the MDBA, with many voices we are all strong! By joining, you will receive our newsletter 4 times per year and our advertising rates are extremely reasonable.

Check us out on www.mndba.com for all the banquet information and how to join the MDBA.

Please contact me at [email protected] if you would like to make a donation to the MDBA.

The auction catalog has begun! Get your donations into the MN Deer Breeders Association. Donations must be in by this weekend to make the auction catalog!

Another update to our website www.mndba.com should be posted soon! Look for an update after this weekend. Just a little more than 2 weeks to go.

Remember....no donation is ever considered too small :)

Don't forget to contact me for the great raffles that we have! Why not take a chance on saving yourself a huge purchase on the best dart rifle made...buy some raffle tickets instead and support the MDBA. Tickets are one for $25 or five for $100. Last year's winner bought $200 in tickets and went home a very happy person!

Susan, I am glad we could make a donation to your cause and I hope it brings good money to the organization. Will there be a complete listing of items donated, broadcast live so we all can bid? or maybe a number to call if I want to bid on something.

And thank you Henry for your donation....we are much appreciative towards your generosity! As we are to all of our donators!!

I think this will be the biggest banquet that we've ever had just by people that are pre-registered which has doubled from 2011. We have alot of new attendees which is a great sign to me!

Most everything that I know of (donated) is on the website right now. I updated the donation list Monday morning to our web person. There are only a couple of donations that are not on there that I got after sending it in, but will send another tonight as a final update. We do have numbers to call in and we can take credit cards :) I also would be more than happy to take you silent auction bids if you are interested in something. Anyone that is interested, please email me directly. Most of the nice items that are not semen are on the silent auction.

I decided to donate an Ammunition doe fawn out of 3 full sister Auggie does. That way I know I should get a doe fawn. Yes, I know this is a very tight LINE BRED fawn but I firmly believe the buyer will be happy. If the buyer does not want line bred fawn I have another option: the doe is a M & M daughter out of a Flip doe. This is the first Ammunition deer to ever leave my farm! I want the buyer to know they are getting a great doe. Thanks for everyone who supports Minnesota deer breeders! Please call me at 507-227-9194 with any Questions.

I just want to THANK everyone who was involved with putting this event on!

( I know some wont see this but want to pass it on anyway)

THis was the First Deer Farming(I think we'll call it now) event I have been to. It was very encouraging to see everyone together and enjoying themselves. I have just recently got into the deer farming industry and I can say I was inpressed by everyones enthusiasm. It makes you feel good when you can be around so many others that share a passion that you have.

Good luck to all in the coming year and Thanks again for all the hard work putting on a great event

Tom Witbeck
