My brother and I had our first tags filled by 8:00AM. I shot mine at 6:30 after we set up close to their roost and two mature toms come right to the decoy. Then Ian shot his at 8:00 after moving setups and calling two more toms into the decoy. Great morning and just awesome to spend time in the field with my brother. Both hunts will appear on Cabelas Spring Thunder http://cabelasspringthunder.com/ probably next monday. Anyone else have any luck. We will be back at it to fill our bonus tags.

Went out before work this morning and got my second bird! Great way to start the day! There is nothing like watching the sun come up.

Congrats on two nice birds. I don't hunt spring turkey much anymore, but I sure miss those spring mornings watching the sun rise and hearing the woods wake up.

Great video, you certainly have a decent spot for turkey, that looked like ideal turkey habitat on that property.
