Steve.....Mr H is looking good!! Our Troubles yearling is still putting it on and his brother looks just as good. The bigger one is a clean 8 x 8....with split G2s. Other one is splitting his G2s too.

Susan Terry Cartwright has two big two year olds out of Troubles with big frames . I have a nice Troubles & Fivebrow two year old 23 " inside

Susan if you get a chance put the two Troubles yearling on so I can see them , I am proud that you have them I pulled up your web you are heading the right direction on your AI program good luck

Here are a few of ours. All Texas, no Northern in these boys. The group shot is of 3 yearlings with our new sire buck. I'll try to get some of him alone in the coming days. He was 217" typical last year, and had covered 39 does that season before we got him. Anxious to see what he does since he got some rest this winter. The wide one is a yearling, and the other one with all the action going on is 2.

Hey Dennis - nothing wrong at all, have some 1/2 bloods on the ground this year. Just clarifying - I know better than to put my apples up against your oranges ;)

Having some trouble figuring out the resizing of these pictures...would love some advice!

Here is a picture of our two year old Maxbuck son. Right side will be a clean 7. Left looks to be a 6, with 5 or 6 extras, so I guess he is 1/2 typical. He grew late into August last year, so we are hoping for the same this year.

I took this picture the day before this buck sliced open the bottom end of his left beam and lost a lot of blood. I knocked him down Saturday morning when it was cool and doctored him up to stop the blood loss. He shows no sign of infection but this injury might halt future growth. He was showing signs of being a very balanced six by six with one extra brow on his left side. He started growing late but really put on a lot of antler in July until this. He has a couple of well-bred daughters for me that I am going to breed more mostly-typical into this fall. He is a Doc son and he has a dam-side brother (one year older) in the next pen with 35 points. I chose to breed with him and not his brother. Please click on thumbnail photos. JOE

Rockin H, we are scratching our head on that on also. However, Big Jake was very typical until he was 5 yrs. old. TimberMax has a womb brother, TimberJake, that is also a clean typical 6X5. We hope they will stay as clean as they are from now on.

This is that same buck @ 2 when he scored 176 7/8" with one sticker on his right that was 1 3/8" long. I bred him for his balance, long beams, long tines, and mass in that order. Please click on thumbnail photo. JOE
