Mike, your Grand daughter is a little cutie pie, judging by her smile I would say she enjoys helping her pap feed fawns.
I love seeing the youth get involved with the deer, or any animals and work that is involved on a farm, so few of kids today get to expirence it. It is genuinely good for the soul in my opinion.
One of my favorite thing about having my deer farm is all the people I get to share it with, but nothing is as fun to me as getting kids up here to visit with and bottle feed fawns every spring. Guys from work bring their kids, my mom gets her co workers to bring their kids, and our church members bring their children up. It can get busy in the summer but I love it..... Its good for the fawns too, they tend to tame down pretty well after being exposed to lots of different children and their parents.
My little nephew is just over 14 months old this year....he is going to have a blast helping his uncle with fawns this summer, I can't wait. So far no doe fawns born, so the bottle feeding hasn't started for me yet, but it is no doubt coming soon.
