Super look! I finally found his pedigree and wasn't too surprised to find out his dam is a Drifter doe. Most of my biggest deer like Sun Dragon, Hijack, Kojack, etc have Magnum 228/Bambi and Y4 in them numerous times. Dreamer's dam is Drifter (Sundance son) with a Y4 son (Savage) as anchor. I see Savage quite a bit as anchor in my favorite bucks up at Flees, too. Look at the pretty bucks Chris Patton just posted... Tombstone is a King Kong son (who is from a Savage doe) and that good-looking 2 yr old is a Romeo son (which Romeo is a Drifter son). I flipped over Stone Cold 2 years ago... his dam?...a Sunny Jr. doe.
Congrats on a super looking buck! He can wander up and stay in my pens any time.
And not a big surprise, I have a straw of Drifter and Sundowner that I plan to use this fall. I can't get over the great look of Big Tea. What's his dam side (besides being a TEXAS TEA SON!) ...his dam side is Grand Canyon (Sunny dam) over a Sundowner doe (Sunny son - which is a Sundance son).
To think Dean started with a $75 buck tied up in his front yard.
