Well unfortunately I had to trim some antler off the nice bottle fed yearling I posted a while back. He just kept on pushing the trees with his horns and finally broke a g4.
Good news is that we got it all before any infection and he is doing well today. He was still pushing blood hard when we cut him.
He is a 50/50 Northern/TX cross out of Maxbo XL
I deducted 4" for webbing on a couple of circumference measurements and came up with 198 3/8 in the velvet.
Thanks goodness he has a much bigger older brother!!! I bet he does just fine at 2 next year!

Wow everybody!!! WOW ! Quad that is a super looking yearling, what's the Texas doe line he is out of ? Ol Dave Lapp can sure crank em out . I got a straw of his AKA 747 deer last year. I guessed right on picking him out of the lineup pretty easily! (Tag # G-26) I'm guessing we ain't seen half of what is gonna show up on here, in the next 30 days its should get CRAZY!!!! Here is Cliff hanger @1 he is Rigid on Gone Platinums mom (Cash doe). We had to put him down and clean up a damaged tine on july 27th he scored 242 4/8. Sexed semen is sold out for 2013. But there is some conventional semen avalible.
Can't wait to see what this boy will do at 2 and 3. Gone Platinum was 187 @1 and 360 @2 and is even bigger this year @3. Now we have Rigid the father to Big Rig on Gone Platinums mom

We are pretty sure he is gona end up somewhere around 260" @2.
The best part about Firecracker is that we bought his dam breed for $1000 and this is what we got out of it. This should make the small producers happy.
