“A man can be as great as he wants to be. If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done.” ~Vince Lombardi

A comment was made to me. They said, "Your just putting things on deer forums to push your deer."

I can in all honesty say this is incorrect.

First off if I sell my deer so be it. But I am not hyping up the business to sell my deer. I have been pretty open in my feelings that the industry is dying.

The reason I have been posting stuff is to spread positive things about life in general. To help inspire others to attain their goals.

A few years ago while I was working my way back from a dark time in my life I wrote down my personal goals. Among them was my desire to inspire and help others so as to make a positive influence in the world. I would like nothing more than when I die someone will say the world lost a good person. It makes no difference to me how much I have in the bank. What matters to me is that there are people who feel they are better off for having known me. Then I have lived a successful life.

Thanks for reading my posts.

Actually it is good to see somebody posting on here and generating deer talk. I agree that the industry is going through a terrible cycle and that we possibly have an over abundance of deer out there but I don't agree that it is "dying". I may just be the eternal optimist.

Currently in South Korea. Across the street from the hotel is a nice park. Heard they had deer so yep, I had to go see them. Here are some pics including one from at breakfast on the 20th floor overlooking the park area.

Hello all,

I am under no illusions that the lot offered will bring great money. However I want to just make a post directing attention to it just the same.

Offered are 6 straws total.

1-PJ

1-Rolls Royce

1-Levi Ranger

1-Mr Clean

2-Stolen Identity

All these straws were purchased by me from the original sellers. They have all been well taken care of and that is why they are stored in my tank at my home. No fear of poor handling with these straws!

All of these bucks come out of solid producing stock.

This assortment gives a buyer some diversity as well.

PJ is well known for adding mass to his offspring. This straw was also purchased from a draw that was packed very heavy. 3-4 does is not out of the question for Lap AI.

Rolls Royce is of course a Rolex son who had early maturity and long tines.

Levi Ranger is the more unsure commodity in the bunch. However he comes from great production.

Mr Clean maybe be an unknown to many. He is out of the Maximus DT line and was a WIDE and beautiful buck. I will attach a pic of a two year old son of his to show he can produce!

Stolen Identity is the older school Flees line owned originally by Mark Sipes. Again early maturity in this buck.

The opening bid is set at $250. I can't imagine you would pay more than $200 to get them shipped to your storage place. If you were the sole bidder at just $250 you would have less than $75 per straw into these straws. This is a good package for those looking to throw a diverse group at their does to widen the breeding results.

The pics are Mr Clean being held by the woman. The other two pics are a 2 year old son of his from last summer. He scored 224"@2

I appreciate your time in looking at this post and the lot offered.

Again these straws are an excellent option for some farms. I am simply liquidating due to closing my farm.

Thank you

PJ is a very under rated buck!  He has produced as well as his sons and daughters... Northern Yankee out of a PJ doe... Typhoon out of a PJ son... Titan a PJ son... Sun Drop out of PJ son... Might not produce a 30" wide but he has produced some of my favorite deer in this industry...

Good Luck with the sale

Roger did you sell your straws?

No I have not. Unless something changes I might just let my tank run dry this summer and toss out all the semen I have left. Unless I find some cattle farmer who has room in his tank for the straws I have. I know I won't be paying for nitrogen anymore though.

No one expressed an interest in seeing motivational stuff so I figured why bother. I reserve that for my Facebook friends now.

Here are two pedigrees of Texas Tea sons we have. They are turning 2 this spring. If your looking for a breeder buck this might be what your wanting.

Back home again. Right now it is 20 degrees colder here in WI than it is in Anchorage Alaska, and only 3 degrees warmer than Fairbanks Alaska. Grrrr!!! So, since I am inside keeping warm I thought I would post something.

I did find a couple pics of the Texas Tea sons I spoke of in my last post above.

This one is Tea on HotShow. He is the smaller of the two brothers from a set of triplets. Not a good pic. Sorry.

22944:image.jpeg]

The is the other Tea on HotShow brother.

22945:image.jpeg]22946:image.jpeg]

Here is a pic of the Tea on Glenna yearling.

22947:image.jpeg]

This 2 year old buck I think is pretty and he has a production pedigree built into him.

24px This girl and 2 other deer are now sold!

24px Thank you!

Decided to pick out a deer from the herd and highlight it for sale.

Starting with a doe named "Patch"

Patch is a 2013 model.

She is bottle fed, however not a super tame girl. She is more of a 20-30 footer. Not wild, but not friendly like the rest of my herd.

Patch was A/I bred to Updraft 317"@3. The back up buck should she have not taken is ShadowMan. ShadowMan at 2 scored 273" and is estimated at just over 300" in 2015. There was no sign of activity seen with Patch and the back up buck.

Patch as you can see goes all the way back to Tex and Red 33. Same breeding as many big bucks in the industry.

Little Patches highlighted in red is of course the mother to Lakota.

Megatron was a massive buck born from Shadow and Maxbo's full sister.

Patch herself is sired by Lost Control who at age 2 was over 38" wide!

Patch is DNAed as #144028

Last year Patch gave me twins.

Again Patch is A/I bred to Updraft 317"@3.

Updraft has sired many big, big sons. On my farm alone he had a son scoring 303"@2.

On a friends farm he had a buck who can be seen below with my friends daughter. As you can see throwing width is not a problem for Updraft!

As great as the sons have been, Updraft daughters have really been super!

One buck on my farm currently is Ruben. Ruben at age 2 was scored at over 225"@2 and was just over 25" inside.

You rarely see Updraft offspring for sale because they simply produce too well to part with. I myself went out and bought back Updraft stuff for the herd.

Pics for reference with this offering.

Here is Patch bred to Updraft 317"@3

22967:image.jpeg]

Updraft age 3

22968:image.jpeg]

Updraft son with the girl

22969:image.jpeg]

Ruben age 2 and 25"+ inside. Ruben is out of ShadowMan and an Updraft daughter.

22970:image.jpeg]

The back up buck called ShadowMan est just over 300" in 2015.

22971:image.jpeg]

Price for this bred doe is $1400

Anyone who purchases multiple deer can expect a discount as well.

If you have an interest in buying this girl email me at

Thank you all for looking!

Stay safe!

Roger

Yes I do Sam. I did not split any straws this year. All does were given a full 1/2cc straw from each buck. So I only bred one doe to PayDay. Thank you for the opportunity to use PayDay, TimberRock and Whoop De Do. All three were used.

I will highlight those bred does in coming days. But PayDay was put into an Updraft daughter. Which is a full sister to Ruben's mother.
