Wayne you can throw up what a real handling facility looks like.  Is your phone broke?  Texted you some goodies today...

If I had it to do over again none of my pens would be square.  I haven't seen it in person or asked them how it works but looking at it on an aerial I like the layout of Trophy Whitetail Inc better than anything I have seen.  The way my deer act at least it would make my life so so much easier.

As for handling facility... I wish I had longer tunnels... bigger stalls inside... and stalls outside.  2 years in a row I've housed deer inside for months after surgery and three 4x12 stalls just aren't big enough IMO.. Exact layout... I've looked at a dozen or so and mimic'd some big farms and I still can't decide how to make mine better... Be conscious of AI though... I have a fairly decent size facility and I am not comfortable bringing in more than about 10 deer at once.  I'd love to have a more elaborate staging area and push walls for everything.

I have the book by Len Jubinville "Proven Deer Handling Facility and Farm Plans" found on deerstore.  I think I paid $100.  I'd sell it for $50 to anyone who wants it.

Hopefully this works?  Did this for some others over the weekend so I thought you folks might be interested too. The actual shed is 10-14m & is outlined in red. It designed around the need to work deer ranging in size from hog deer to elk. It's also designed so just one person can acomplish all the required jobs. Using the outside yards as holding areas mobs of a couple of hundred deer at a time can be run in.

I'm particularly interested in learning more about the "shute" system which appears popular up there.
