This will be my first time with does having fawns. I have one doe that is getting pretty big and feels really big. Now today she seems uncomfortable and always keeping her tail lifted a bit and looks bigger then normal on her backside to the point its almost swollen looking. Do does get swollen and even a little red looking on their backside as they get closer to time to give birth?

Heres a couple pics from a few days ago of her.

I can't really tell much by the pic's.

I would say she has a ways to go because she not even making a bag yet.

I had fawns here first time last year but my does did not have any bare, red, possibly swollen location. Brent is right, there is no bag yet, she's not yet there. Seems like something's irritated back there. Does she have diarrhea? That could cause hair to fall out and skin being irritated, red, slightly swollen. Is the tail underside possibly reddish and bald too?

No she doesn't have the runs and has normal looking stools. She eats fine and everything else about her seems fine. I figure with no bag she has a little while yet but just not sure if as they get closer if its normal but im guessing not. What other things could cause this?

When she starts pacing the fence a lot, then it's coming.  Sometimes they don't hardly bag up prior to having fawns but they always seem to pace the fence and chasing other doe away.
