Very nice Todd. Congrats! Payday is really producing. He is better than I hoped and as good as any deer out there...I didn't think it was possible to produce deer you can harvest at 1...but his sons are falling into that category. They are huge framed with mass and tine length. We are truly blessed to have Payday.

Here are just a few Payday Yearlings sent to me by Hank Corbell. They are coming in from all over!

First Picture Hailstorm 2yo Northern Yankee son with 16"+ G2's

2nd Picture Blackout @ 3yo.  Had several tines over 16" before damage early July and over 30" beams before breaking them at his G5's.

3rd Picture 1 or 2 Yearlings out of Blackout.  Estimated 190" after broke Left beam off early July or would have finished low 200's with 26-27" inside spread.  Blackout's 2nd yearling had to be knocked down twice for damage and had 13.5" G2 on the good side when we cut him in July (no pic on computer).  Both are very much bigger than he was as a yearling!

4th Picture is Blackout after his first antler damage.

That is a pretty boy. Congrats.

Johnny B,

Thank you, I'm proud to have him and excited to see what he can reproduce for the future.

What is the first buck's pedigree?  He's got a fantastic look!

sire was out of  bucky  over a maxbo ranger doe(heavy/highroller)

and out of a doe I bought off Crist Miller out of hercules

Hailstorm (Northern Yankee / Complex / Shadow / Soaring Eagle / Blitzen).  I'm very happy with what I'm seeing out of Northern Yankee so far.  This is the only son that wasn't damaged this year and his G2's are about as good as it gets on a 2 year old.  All my hunting buddies love this buck!  The other 2 would have been 200+ and 250+ if they hadn't been damaged.
