I have a two year old buck that just started to have one ear hanging, dont know why he seems fine other than that ear just being plain lazy it seems.

anyone know what could be causing him to do that? Or have an opinion!

We had a doe that did it for a day or so and she just started "using" it again. Really have no cause to the symptom. Good luck

It can mean they have an infection.

I also had a buck the other day that had a drooped ear when he came walking up to feed. The next day it was better, and the next it was back to normal. I gave him nothing.

I would advise keeping a close eye on the deer and if it doesn't get better, make a plan to treat with an antibiotic.

I also had a 4 yr old doe doing the same thing with one ear seemed to be just hanging, noticed her shaking her head often as well. progressively got better over two or three days and now it's back to normal

Cassie, we see that occasionally and it is usually a minor injury that goes away in a couple of days. If you are nervous about it or if it lingers, hit him with some antibiotic and he should be fine.
