Hey lot 51 was owned by Rocco Slaboda he's a pretty good guy he is 30 minutes north of my farm.
Yep! I talked to Rocco on the phone a couple times. Seems like a really good guy! I was bidding on some other lots he had too but they went out of my price range. Lot 214 was $2,750.

Ok is any one going to post the prices? Well any one? Midwest Deer Sales do you have the prices of your own auction??? Copy and paste is real easy... Im sorry but I would have posted the prices but I was out promoting our hunting preserve and Ezra Lane was at the auction meeting people and learning about the industry and Henry Martin was prolly kicking back hanging out with his new fiancé some one here has the prices written down... LOL... Yes it takes a little time to post prices but it helps us all out to see what deer are going for. Myself and the rest of the deer farmers on here would greatly appreciate it. It would be nice if the auctioneers would post there prices/results from there sale like on there website or something. Im also curious to see how many deer were sold over $50k-$100k because I like to write BULLSH$T beside them prices... LOL have a nice day on this cold snowy day

I believe the only 2 lots i saw go over 50k and 100k were S&S's lots. I dont believe there was an monkey business on those lots. To get a shot at a daughter of a couple of the best does in the bizz will cost a guy about 130k im sure. You dont really think numbers get fudged at auctions. Do You? lol
Sometimes some of the prices make you wonder.
However how much is Sudden Express worth in todays industry? Probably not affordable to most of us. So when you take a buck like Ranger( who's produced how many breeders in this industry 20+ easily) and cross that on moms and womb sisters of Industry leading bucks.
Whats that worth? Seems to me it was worth $100K+ to somebody and if I had the money to buy it I would bid whatever it took. You also have to factor in the partner ship aspect of this business. What is it worth to have a deer that is going to market itself or have one of the big guys marketing that line for you? Its pretty easy to market fawns when there out of ..such and such's Dam or Womb sister.
Just my thought but I am relatively new to this.
