I was wanting to come up with a list of all the 500+ inch Bucks in our industry. Who am I missing?

Big Rig

Free Agent

X Factor

Gold Dust

Rolexby10

New Image

Energizer

Busting Loose

Ballistic

King of the Mountain

Dream Rolex

Rampage owned by Jerry shelton in Oklahoma. Still carrying his rack after going through at least 20+ days of 105+.

Ballistic carried his antlers to hard antler and we sawed them last year in October when we drew semen. It would be interesting to know if any of the other 500" bucks were able to do the same.

I have not seen pictures yet of New Image, Busting Loose, King of the Mountain, or Dream Rolex from this year. Would anyone be able to share some pictures?

Thanks,

Johnny B

Rusty an XL/Triple PA geronimo Doe

Who's Your Daddy....................B.A.S.S. Womb Brother

I Think both are past 500"

I guess the question should be how many deer are over 600" cause there are a lot over 500"

I guess the question should be how many of those deer are actually over 500"?

That had to be a question many wanted to ask. 300" mark got used pretty loosel

y then 400" now the 500" mark.

We really need some sort of standard to use. We all know hwo scores them big and who scores them tough.

All INCREDIBLE bucks but, we should be able to do this without having doubts, it is 2012 after all.

I give mega props to anyone that had their antlers scored at NADEFA for sure!

The ones scored at NADEFA. Those are the only scores that should count as records and if you want to advertise it as record get it scored at NADEFA by the same panel as everyone else. All others are just estimated scores and should not be advertising as a record or a first buck to go over a certain score in my book. There are some huge bucks out there take them to NADEFA and let them score them if you have nothing to hide. Also one more thing replicas should not count way to easy to add inches.

The problem with scoring at nadefa is it is so long after growning season. People need scores before the breeding season. Most farmers have their deer scored by master SCI scorers after they are cut. The problem is when they have another master scorer score their deer people ***** that they are shopping for score. Just my thoughts

Good point maybe have them scored at an earlier auction or put together a group of scorers that would be willing to score at several different auctions. Just so it is the same panel of nonbias guys doing the scoreing.

Exactly my thoughts! Why do we score 2012 bucks after breeding season? This is completely backwards. MOST if not all big breeder bucks are cut off by mid October during semen collection. At least this is the case in the North. Knowing what a buck scores in March doesnt do a lot of people any good after the fact.

By the way, ALL I was looking for was a LIST of 500 inch bucks. No hidden agendas, just wanted a list.
