60 Minutes tonight

It is a very good show as i am watching it now. They are talking to a whole handfull of animal activists and only one lady is against it.She says she would rather see an animal go extinct in the whole world rather than have numerous breeding herds in texas!! These people are making this lady look like the fool she sounds like!!!

GREAT JOB SIXTY MINUTES!

That was the best piece of reporting on a national network that I've ever seen. Charlie Seale was terrific!

Finally a report on hunting and conservation that told the truth! I didn't think they had it in them! WOW!

Take the hunting out of the conservation and the species ceases to exit! Wake up America and see what the anti-hunters are REALLY proposing!

Great Job Charlie and Sixty Minutes!

They did a good job to with the subject of an "easy hunt". The animal rights activist believe that if an animal is inside of a high fence, its a canned hunt. They did a great job with the story of the hunter who had to come back 6months later to get his Oryx. On another note, I am glad I shot a scimitar horned oryx 2 years ago and have a beautiful mount. It looks like they are going to be much more difficult to get ahold of.

I thought Charly Seale did a great job in the interview and 60 minutes was fair on on the way they presented the segment!

Charlie is the man! What a great interview he put forth! Charlie is the type of person I think we all need to have speaking for our industry!

I will bet they repeal the sanctions they are imposing on these animals with in 2, maybe 3 years, when they see that they are loosing ground, Then they should go back and revisit that lady on the video and we will see if her opinion is the same. In the mean time when you see Charlie, give him a big pat on the back!

Thanks Charlie

Great job, Charlie! That was a good segment. Beautiful animals, with a bleek future, now that they cant be hunted.

You can still hunt them Darren, you have to get a special federal permit. My friend in the San Antonio area already has his papers in. You are able to buy and sell animals from others who have the permit. You can also harvest from your herd. My friend told me the prices are already falling on the Oryx, he has been buying them up so he can increase his herd. They really are one of the most spectacular looking animals I have ever seen walking this earth! The addax and dama gazel are really amazing looking animals too!

This piece should be used in the Indiana case for allowing preserves. I know this is not about whitetails but it is the best I have ever seen on high fence hunting and conservaton.

Great job Charlie. Finally a newsperson that gave us a fair shake. Great job 60 Minutes. The lady looked pretty sad, she would rather see these animals go extinct than be hunted? Preserves may be the salvation for these animals to survive. She didn't think Texas was the place for these animals? Only in Africa? Doesn't she realize that animals are also hunted in preserves in Africa. This lady is scary, to think that she has a position of authority, that people actually listens to.

Caught the end of this and I was glued to it. I thought it was a great peice. At the end I loved how he said with out hunting prices would plumet and the (i think) numbers would already be in half in a few years. Shows the great impact the preserves can make.

Thanks Charlie! You have always represented our industry well. Folks, if you are not a member of the exotic wildlife association you should be. Charlie's editorials are awesome! Once you read a few of them you will know what I'm talking about. Keep fighting brother!!!!

For anyone that would like to see the website for this anti-hunting party here is the link

Also, for anyone wanting to write an E-mail to this ignorant person here is there E-mail address

I sent an E-mail just now and if they get slammed with people that disagree with their position (with accurate statistics that proves the strength of our position maybe it will help).

Charlie for President!:)

We are certainly hoping that our TV show is at least doing a small part to educate people about our business. Of course, they have to want to learn and have an open mind - which obviously some don't. BUT there are a whole lot of people out there that know nothing about our business and we'd sure prefer they learned from one of us rather than one of them.
