I don't see that kind of "hate" between hunters in my area. I bow,muzzleloader,and shotgun hunt here. You should have started thinking with your big head and asked why or how they came up with that conclusion then maybe try ed to sway them a different direction

CWD issues start arguments all over hunting forums too. Why would PETA need to do anything if the uninformed hunters wanna argue about CWD. Although I will say, as the years go by, hunters do realize CWD is not really affecting deer numbers and it becomes less of a deal. Pa and West Virginia hunters don't hardly mention it anymore on their hunting boards, Ohio hunters are obviously upset, but give them 3 years, they won't care anymore. But I can't help but think the mention of CWD does make some paranoid hunters quit for good.

I have been deer hunting all my 33 years of life, as well as my father and grandfather have hunted since the 1920s. Never have I heard of deer being killed in my family that had cwd. I think ehd symptoms get blamed as cwd in Alot of cases. I have literally seen thousands of wild deer, none showing cwd...

I don't post a lot but I thought this was something you we should share,

I would like to share a bit of a conversation I heard in Utah today. I was sitting at dinner and 2 girls witch ended up being peta members were talking. they were talking there cause so I asked what do you do about hunting? There answer was "nothing the are destroying themselves the trappers don't like hunters,bow hunters don't like rifle hunters, deer hunters don't like anyone it's just a matter of time before they get rid of themselves" now the peta members are saying this and don't think of us as a threat any more

This is very sad for all of us and we will regret it in our future if we can't put differences aside and come together!!

Now before you ask why I was talking to peta members over dinner I'm still a guy

I will share this as many times as I can because this is the truth the fighting between all the groups that are within hunting needs to wake up




This in fact is very true and I have seen this many many times. I have used the word "purist" and this is what I am talking about. Some archery folks are so obsessed that bows have to be this or that or it is not really true bow hunting. Not to mention that some bow hunters hate rifle hunters and vis versa. These girls probably were far more correct than many would even see or admit.
