An idea for promoting our industry and public relations

Could a DVD be produced with hunts from our industries preserves as the main feature with narration between hunts from someone like Keith Warren. Spots on the DVD could be auctioned at the annual Nadefa convention and each states annual fundraisers that would give an owner the opportunity to showcase hunts and promote a hunting ranch or hunting related products from multiple states all on one dvd. This money raised could be used to finance the production of the Dvd. Each state has some sort of hunting expo,NRA convention etc. where every states deer farming association could get a booth and give the DVD away. A new DVD could be made and space on it sold yearly. A time of narration between each hunt could be used for positive pr for our industry and the lies used by those against us could be refuted while preserve owners could sell hunts. If anyone has an idea to improve this please add it. I believe everyone of us could benefit.

Keith is going to do a show this fall on high fence and fair chase hunting, also a new CWD video.  Their was enough money raised during the Top 30 to do this.

Awesome,

How can we get a pile of copies to give away?

He won't do production til fall.  The old CWD tape is available.  You have to get them reproduced yourself.  We did 1000 in Minnesota cost us 70 cents apiece.

In my opinion it would be more affective if the CWD topic was discussed between hunts from preserves representing all of our industries participating states. In addition to get the most" bang for our buck" I believe it should be taken into consideration there is a much larger audience for hunting DVDs than a CWD documentary alone. I'm not sure if I were to pass out a CWD DVD at our hunting expo how many would actually watch it. The new hunting DVD produced each year would give more opportunities to new preserves to advertise and the opportunity to narrate an updated perspective of issues we are faced with as we try to keep public opinion on our side.
