I only have one buck , and he has started re-growth . they are about 3/4 inch up as of today . He lost his others jan 25 . I hope this is a good sign , grow from now till september .

I have one that is just about to break the skin. He lost his Buttons in early Feb. I have a Gladiator Buck fawn that still has his buttons.

We have some that are just starting to come up. Should be an interesting year. Of course we still have one holding both sides, and a couple that just dropped in the last couple days. Early growers or late growers, we won't know anything for a couple months yet. My favorite time of year.

We have 2 roosevelt and 1 rocket buck fawns showing about an inch of velvet.Seems kinda early as we had snow covering the pens again monday.Nashville back to ny and snow....I want spring!!

Mike it's funny you mention Roosevelt... he only lost his buttons about 10 days ago and has already put an inch up in that time and the mass will be unreal. And that nice 150" yearling he had last year is coming up probably 5"-7" circumference and 3" up already. That Holly girl I have left is a very similar breeding.

I am assuming that for it to be antler growth, just like scoring it has to be at least 1/8"???

I have a 3 yr old that is showing about 3 inches out of his head. Last year he started early, but Petered out.

I have a couple in the 140 class already at least until they shed.

my 3 adults all show about an inch, haven't paid much attention to the buttons/yearlings, not much there, some might have buttons still. my adults shed early this year.

The 2yo that I wanted to enter into the Nedefa typical contest is still packing! All the rest have shed...swelling on my avatar buck.

Good to see you too Mike, as well as everyone else, lots of people there. St. Peters, yep, I think it fits you good. :)

We have 6 yearling bucks and only one of them is starting to grow. They have all lost their buttons sometime before March but only one has started to grow (not much just black with gray circles in the middle).
