Folks,

I wanted to let you know that we lost a friend and business partner on Saturday. Steve Lester, his wife and two daughters were killed Saturday. They were flying from Tulsa to Dallas to watch their beloved Oklahoma Sooners play football. Their plane struck a wire on a radio tower shortly after takeoff. Heavy fog is thought to be the cause. Steve was new to deerfarming and will be greatly missed by my family. He has two surviving children and I ask for your prayers for his kids and family.

Mike, Sorry to her about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and their remaining family.

Michael, that is terrible, I cant imagine how thier family feels. If you want to send flowers on behalf of the deer breeders across the country,I will be glad to pay for them. Darren 417 880 4239 They will be in our prayers

Thanks to everyone for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. They were a great family and did alot of missionary work overseas and had just returned from Africa. Steve was a very dedicated doctor, husband and father and really was starting to get the "deer fever" that we all suffer from. May God bless their family and each and every one of you. Thank you again.

Phil, Steve and Michael

Micheal,

You can count on yourself and all those involved in this terrible accident to be in my prayers . Death is not an easy thing to deal with especially when it is a close friend.

I must say also, it is truly amaziing how this forum can bring people together in support for a fellow deerfarmer. My hats off to all those who take the time to hand out some kind supporting words to those who are in need.

We just returned from a weekend camping trip, so I am catching up on the forums. I am so sorry to hear of this tragedy. All those involved will be in our prayers. Allen
