Today at noon i gave my fawns their feedings. The doe fawn had almost perfect poo (it was pelleted but had a small film around it that kept it all mashed together). The buck fawn had no pellets; his poo was very soft and very light colored with a little bit of red in it. It also had foamy bubbles mixed in too. I got very concerned, and have been keeping my eye on him but he is playful as ever. What can I do to help solidify them up? They still eat great; I offer them a few maple leaves after they eat and they like them and their pen is dirt so they nibble around on that all day. Any suggestions to help solidify them up?

Anytime i see blood in muy stool I start my fawns on albon....5cc's for 5 days usually clears them up.....it has worked for me so far,,,usually blood in the stool is ecoli or coccidia........both need treated and should not be ignored.....goood luck!!

I would think that you might wait to see blood in the fawns stool before you pick on the fawns. At least thats what I think Mitch was getting at. Rick
You got it Ike. I read your post Dennis and it says, when you see blood in MY stool, I start my fawns on Albon. I couldn`t resist Dennis.
