It appears to be working quite well in the video. Will he be selling any of his product?

I got some additional information.  This product masks protein in the blood.  It is all natural.  It is a top dressing designed to be added to textured feed.  It is mixed at 2 scoops per 25 lb of feed.  It can also be fed to cattle.  It will come in 5 gallon buckets with 300 scoops in each bucket.  He is unsure if he will offer it for sale this year, but he said that he thinks he will.  It should be available by March.  I'll post more information as I get it.  He said that when he would see horse flies land on his deer, they would only be there for a second or two.  We will definitely be using this on our farm this year.  We will also be using Fly Predators in combination with this.  We don't think that there will be a need for us to use straight garlic anymore.  Again, I'll post more information and hopefully more video as I get it.  Thanks for the interest!

I have some additional information on this product. It has internal and external benefits for itch, bot-flies, fleas, ticks, arthritis, cystitis, and it is a natural antibiotic. Product is also contains probiotics, minerals vitamins and is a rich, pure source of potassium which is necessary to build strength and fight bacteria by flushing toxins. If using this product, you will likely not need to worm. It will be available this year, likely in March, but with VERY LIMITED quantities.

With my fawn i use 15 drops lavandar to 1/4 cup of lemon juice to 4 tablespoons of vanilla extract mixed with distilled water.  Seems to work great for mosquitos and biting flys.  It's a little hippy-ish i know but it worked.

this is the reply i received after asking for more information its to bad this could have been a great tool for all of us

Unfortunately, the product never came to production.  We are going back to good ole' Garlic.  Seems to work like a champ!!

Thanks for the interest!

DefenDEER supplements advertises they have a systemic for insect repellent in their product. Maybe systemics for insect repellant would be a good topic to further discuss. I believe there are multiple feed additives and at least two water soluble systemics for the drinking water that are helpful and discourage the female midges from feeding on the blood of our deer to provide nutrition for their eggs.
