I have a buck fawn who is about a month old. He is very bloated and lethargic. Took his temperature its at 98.7. Have given him antitoxin and 1cc of penicillin for 3 days now, not getting any better. His stool is normal and he is peeing on his own. Does anyone know of anything else I can do for him, not looking very good.

You could try some Neomycin down his throat and probiotics if he makes it thru the night..Sounds like bad bloat and need to release the pressure. Could take a needle and poke his stomach to release some pressure. If he is down now it sure wont hurt and i have heard of guys having good luck doing it. Sounds like you are to the point of trying something or he will be a loss either way. Good Luck to ya. Have been in your shoes.

Have you tried gas x crushed up and syringed, or di gel, or baking soda mix?....dont use the needle unless a last resort.....
..they barely ever survive it.....do you have a feeding tube you can put down to release air.....if u need help please call us 4849558257......have dealt with way too many episodes of fawn bloat....we have a complete protocol for it, doesnt always save em but at least gives um a good shot at beating it. are you def using antitoxiN not toxoid.....we would give a one month old 5cc antitoxin 1.5 penicillin...drench with baking soda and di gel and tube for air.
