Bloated Fawn

I have a fawn that is bloated. Tried thiamine and probiotics first. No luck. Tried pepto. No luck. Small amounts of antibiotics. No luck. Finally put a tube down her esophagus and into the rumen and relieved the pressure. Then put veg. Oil and dissolved baking soda in her stomach through the tube. She was big and bloated by that evenings feeding. I've ran that tube in her 3 times now but it comes right back! What do I do now!?

I had one do that this year. I gave C&D Antitoxin to her and the rest of the bottle fawns. I didn't save her but no other fawns have had the problem. I think you have to give this every three or four weeks to make sure it is not a problem for your bottle fawns. Sure seems mule deer fawns can find problems whitetail can't. LOL
