Bred does

183 days. Had our first on Sunday. A little small but doing okay. Same momma had quads ar 184 last year. All were healthy.

There is a farm 1 hour from us that had a single buck fawn April 4th this year. He is on the bottle and HUGE. He is going to have big buttons this fall.

Earliest ever on my farm was last year on May 10, she was 197 days, I have a strong feeling that same doe is going to break that record this year, if she don't fawn in the next few days she is going to explode. Her udder bad is full (has been for almost 2 weeks) and she is doesn't move more than 50 yards from the feeder, its to uncomfortable for her to walk around right now.

Two years ago I had a doe give birth to 2 fawns on April 28th. It dropped down into the 30's that night and I pulled both. Put them back in the next day and they did great.

May 2nd, and this is what are getting. Could get from 12-16 inches.

How do you think fawns will do in this?

And to think our AI date is only two weeks away!!!

At least we shouldn't get EHD.

Gotta love Minnesota.

You definitely have a bunch of that Global Warming going on over there Gary.......WOW....can't believe that.....hope it's short lived for you......looks like Alaska....That would depress the crap out of me....keep your head up ....summers just around the corner.....I Think?

In Minnesota we pray for global warming. LOL Talking 70's by first of next week. We hit mid 70's last weekend. Was on a open tractor last weekend seeding deer pens. What a change.
