Just received 55lb tub of Bug Off Garlic from Springtime Inc. to add to my feed to keep the flys, ticks, and midges off my deer cost me only $371 to keep everybody healthy plus garlic is an antioxidant keep them colds away. Here is the link to there sight

Here is a link to where I get Granulated Garlic from. I feed around 6 to 7# per ton. http://www.webstaurantstore.com/regal-granulated-garlic-25-lbs/102707696.html it comes out to 165.96 plus shipping for 75 pounds.

We use granulated garlic as well and top dress it, works very well. A little expensive but it really helps keeping the flies away

We have been getting ours from Sam's Club and could not find a better price but Allen, I think you just found a better price for us. Granulated seems to mix in the feed much better than the powder.

How long will you feed garlic before you can see it working?

I have been putting 3oz per 50lbs for two weeks and I still see a lot of flies.

Have you guys ever heard of Garlic Barrier??? My hubby sells it at work and wasn't sure if this could be added to their feed....it's like 99% concentrate in liquid form. I'm thinking the smell would be too much...what's your opinion?

I also order the garlic in bulk from the webstaurants store.com but in the powdered form instead of granular. I have it mixed at 8 pounds per ton and the flys are horrible in the pens and a few may land on the deer but they WILL stop biting them all together. I have ran out of that feed mix for a couple days and the flys without it will eat my deer alive. It works amazing and the price is very minimal. They will leave the deer alone after being back on the feed in just about a day.

Does everyone feed garlic year round or just like May through October?

We don't do it all year long. We usually start in April. It definitely works well.
