I would like to congradulate everyone in the antlers section truely awesome bucks. I thought I would have a little fun and show how these awesome bucks get their start. This is one of our buck fawns born May 8th.
I like the idea Jeff, we can only imagine what it can lead to. Went to dinner with my youngest son tonight. Carried him hone in the cradle of one of my arms when he was born. I am 6' 1" tall. Tonight I had to look up at him.
Wayne I understand you fully. The other day passing through Ohio from New York heading to Florida I stopped to see my son Rick at football practice. He overall size wise is the biggest out there and when they took a break he came up to me and I too had to look up at little myself. Far cry from when he was born. Rick was a premy and spent a month in Columbus Childrens hospital before I too carried him home.
Tina just sent me some more photos. We have a couple more early beginners.
Pretty neat to see those buttons coming.....It is hard to tell if it means anything though......some of my fawns with ne smallest buttons ended up being my biggest yearlings in the spring..........still exciting though.......
Same here..We had 4 buck fawns last year.3 had hard horn showin 1 didnt...Yep the one that didnt is our biggest yearling ever.Sure is great to see the buttons pop out on them little guys though!!
