This was my first year in the deer industry and first year as a buyer in the past auctions. Prices were bad for sellers but good for buyers. As a buyer this year I had several items where no one would bid against me, the owner then made a decision if he/she wanted to sell. If they did not sell I was more than ok with that, I probably would not have sold at some of those prices either. My warning is with one lot that I purchased that later when contacting the seller they declared it was not enough money, they should have not sold, they even told the auction owner that a bobcat killed the deer. I will say, the auction house was great in the process they really tried, it just came down to individual integrity. If you purchased form Misty Mountain Trophy Hunting BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!
