Anyone still have their Christmas tree up? I do lol...my son comes home from school everyday and the first the he does is run over and turn the lights on. I just hate to break the lil guys heart. and it's really not hurting a darn thing. May just leave it up :lol:

good idea!! your wife want be bugging you about putting it up next year during hunting season. Actually i have an artificial tree that i put castors on two years ago. I just unplug it, cover it with a sheet and roll it into the closet. Next year i just roll it out and plug it in.
Fake tree..don't think the deer will eat it...on second thought..yeah they would lol

I still have Christmas lights weaved through my deer pen wire (up at a safe level to avoid the deer chewing them) I like it. I may keep my lights up for a while 
Thanks! We are fortunate to have a good friend who has a tree farm....and donates all his extra cut christmas trees to our deer.... we drag em in the pens and everyone loves em!!
We have left them up till easter and had 6 inches of new growth on all limbs. The trick is to start and put a fresh cut on the stump then water every day with boiling hot water. I think it melts the sap because the water gets sucked up every night. This should be put on tv , maby there would be less house fires if peoples trees didn't dry up so badly.
