ok this is probably a stupid question, after reading all the talk on cidr's i know the use for them but what exactly are they, whats it stand for and how easy are they as far as putting in and taking out. sorry just a rookie trying to learn, thanks chris
 
CIDR stands for controlled internal drug release dispenser. In this case it is a intravaginal progesterone release device. They are inserted with a plunger type tube. They have little wings that spread out when they are inserted to prevent them from coming out and a plastic string that is used for pulling it out. Neither process is complicated. There is a much greater issue involved in handling the deer!
