Corn Glutten and Soy Hulls

I use soy hull pellets in my feed mix at a rate of 250 lbs. per ton. It's a good source of soluble protein and my deer eat it right down. The rest of my mix is 500 lbs. each of whole corn, oats, whole roasted soy beans, with molasses, vitimins, minerals rounding out the ton for a 16 % mix. Soy hull pellets have tripled in price in the past year though. I have to thank Brigid and Pete for coming up with the formula--it's worked out great.

I have a friend that has been feeding corn glutten and soy hulls for a year. His deer jumped a third in antler size.I've been watching his deer for three years.

Are you saying 1/3 more than he thinks they would have grow without it?

Or do you think it's just normal growth from one year to the next?

I have been feeding soy hulls corn glutten and corn mix for the last 2 years. My deer

do good on it. Price was $185.00 ton on the soy hull & corn glutten.

His deer grew an average of about a third in gross score on average.I'm not sure what he fed before but it convinced me to switch to the feed.I was very surprised on the change. Can send pictures if needed

I feed CGF & soy hulls to ranch deer and breeder deer with incredible results. I will say that the pen deer need a balanced ration for maximum growth.
