Ive got a good one for ya. Friday 3/15 a conservation agent found a giant skull on public land. It was the second time he went shed hunting. The buck scored in the 260's and had 39 scorable points. It will be one of the largest ever to come out of Mo. He was off duty and called another agent to fill out the proper paper work. He did everything by the book that you are supposed to do when you find a skull. Here's the good part yesterday 3/25 the uppers in charge of the Cons Dept ordered him to turn it over. He told me he had no choice. He was afraid it might cost him his job. Kinda funny how they only do this when its something big. They had also confiscated the Missouri Monarch(the current world record). They sell replicas for $5,000 apiece. This ******** has got to stop. To complain call Bob Ziehmer 314-280-5815. He is the one who sent down the order. I will try to get an email address for this jerk.

That is a vary sad and corrupt thing to do. The size of the whitetails rack should not be of any business to them, weather its a spike or a 200" giant, if you follow proper procedure you should be allowed to keep your finds. I admire the officers honesty that found the deer and I think its a shame he can't keep it.

That is a very messed ordeal try to be honest and thats what they do to him they should at least make a replica at no charge for him seeing as he was honest and contacted them unlike so many others

lesson learned dont trust the government

I would make sure that the sporting news magazines get a hold of this also so a story can be published on the topic. This clearly shows wildlife agencies think about the dollars involved. They expect to profit from this find by selling replicas. They use their bully government tactics against our industry to try and limit our ability to be in direct competition with them. However getting a story published that points out the facts will be tough. They most likely would rather just ignore the real story and only talk about the big buck and how everyone should hope to see one like it someday.
