Darting deer in New Yok City??

Just read an article.saying they are considering darting deer outside New York City with a contraceptive to control the population..It would prevent them from breeding for three years.. Anyone else heard this and what are you thoughts?

It will probably keep them from breeding forever.......cause it will kill them....LOL....this is the first I heard of this.......I guess if it works and is not harmful to the animals it would be a good thing....

That's what i said..if you can get close enough to dart, why not bow hunt them? Will be expensive to pay someone to dart..its on fox news today

Gosh if they would allow the bow hunters a chance to shoot them with an income from hunting licences instead of darting them causing an exspense with darts , drugs , and someone to do the darting were's the logic ? Is it in an area where bow hunting would be far more dangerous than darting or what ?

I have heard that this is how PETA and HSUS suggest that we control wildlife populations as an alternative to hunting. They think they have the right to play god as well as take away our right to hunt. Unbelievable, next they will want to outlaw eating meat!!!!!!

Turn the bow hunter loose and donate the meat to the homeless shelters!!! Burger and more burger!! Something so simple probably won't happen!!!! Has any PETA members ever gone hungry ? What's there solution ? Hand out a potatoe!!!
