Can you share some recipes of your deer feed. Ive heard some say deer eat 2 lbs per day and others say they feed 8 lbs per day.

Some are reluctant to reveal recipes. I used to feed Record Rack Breeder. If you find that, you will see a recipe made specifically for deer. I think they eat an average of 4lbs or so a day, give or take. They eat far less in winter and much more in the summer.

600 shelled corn
300 oats
400 38% protein pellet
160lb molasses
50 sunflower seeds
40 beet pulp
400 roasted soybeans
50 herford mineral show pack pellet

this time of year we go through a ton about every two weeks with nearly 80 deer but we also supplement with bread each night as well

No not at all, perfect pellets we found that 600 was about the perfect number- feed burns out at 20% protein and 5.5% fat

This is what we feed now. I'm going to bump up the corn in my mix and see what happens. I get the corn as part of the lease payment so the mix I get is by the ton I just add the corn into the mix as I feed.

400 shelled corn

500 lb oats
550 lb 20% Antler Max protein pellet
150 lb molasses
100 lb sunflower seeds
100 lb beet pulp
600 lb roasted soybeans

Do you feed in trough feeders? I have to back my molasses and soy oil down every winter so it flows better. Has anyone been feeding with maxrax?

Yes we use tube feeders for the adult deer. I cut the molasses off around the 1st week of Dec due to the cold then when the temp warms up enough ill push it hard during growing season so they eat more. Did try Maxrax wasn't impressed for the money it costs seemed to attract more birds with it.

Have any of you guys used Dried Distiller Grain or Soybean Meal? And what type of results have you had. Thanks in advance
